The Program

PURPOSE

Our purpose is to provide men with an effective, Christian, faith-based solution to life-controlling problems. By applying biblical principles, Adult & Teen Challenge of Arkansas aspires to help these men become mentally-sound, emotionally-balanced, socially adjusted, physically-well, and spiritually-alive.

Our goal is to help residents establish addiction-free lifestyles in connection with issues they identify as life-controlling and to recognize that these skills and tools are transferable to future problems and challenges they will face.

PLAN

This faith-based residential program assists men in recovering from drug and alcohol addiction and the life-controlling problems associated with them. In addition, residents work on overcoming rebellion and the self-destructive behaviors associated with their substance abuse and developing positive life skills. We provide a structured environment for residents to participate in spiritual and emotional support classes that address common struggles and issues. ATCAR also offers an opportunities to earn a GED, develop a positive work ethic, and help others through community service.

Freedom From Addiction Starts Here

WORK THERAPY

Residents spend part of their day in chapel, doing individual studies, and in group classes. The other part of their day involves participation in our work therapy program. This can can be anything from mowing lawns, being in our kitchen, clerical and janitorial work, or support for various community events and projects. By including work in the program structure, students learn a positive work ethic and the value of community service.

RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM

Our center offers a 9-month residential program for adult men designed to help them learn how to live addiction-free lives. We challenge these men to embrace the Christian faith because this is the core belief of our program, and by doing so, their lives are transformed and they find true meaning and purpose.

Residents follow strict rules and discipline. All residents adhere to a daily schedule which includes chapel, Bible classes and work assignments on or near the grounds.

For those unfamiliar with the game, Lucky Jet online is one of the most exciting and fast-paced games at Crash, involving placing bets on a multiplier that continuously increases until it mysteriously crashes, causing all bets to be lost. Despite the high stakes involved, many players choose to partake in this game due to its addictive nature.
